Angela Rene’ is the CEO of PurpleDivaDesigns.com.  Angela’s love affair with fashion began at a very young age. She was influenced by her Mother and Grandmother, who taught her the fundamentals of sewing. Being surrounded by Divas that had style and an eye for fashion, she was destined to become a Designer.

Angela is no stranger to the Beauty Biz. She worked as a Nail Technician for over 25 years, in High-end Salons, in Boca Raton, FL, Las Vegas, NV, Los Angeles, CA, and owned her own Salon, California Nails, Ltd., in Nassau, Bahamas. Although she loved working in the beauty industry, she always knew she wanted to be a Designer. As a Curvy Woman, she found the selection of fashions to be limited and unappealing. She always wondered why the plus size department is always hidden in the back of the store, like the ugly stepchild, and why did contemporary, trendy and couture designs, stop at size 14? Her frustration to find fashionable and stylish clothing in her size, gave her the determination to create her own.

Out of necessity, her passion grew as well as her clientele. Her love for fashion, jewelry, and accessories made her pursue her lifelong dream. She began to find and create jewelry designs that were unique and in demand. After providing her jewelry for Red Carpet and Formal Events, in 2010, Purple Diva Designs by Angela Rene’ was born. The Line flourished and she added handbags, a T-Shirt Line called Haters Love my Curves, and a Curvy Line of original fashions in sizes 14 and up. Angela’s designs have been seen on the runway, at Fashion on The Real, La Fonda, Los Angeles, The American Cancer Society’s Catwalk for a Cure Fundraiser, in San Diego, CA, The Curvy Revolution Convention, at Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas, NV,  Rock Your Curves, Los Angeles,  SIBE (Spectrum International Beauty Expo, and Haute Curves LA Fashion Week.​

She currently is a partner in the company, Elite Curves International, and  made history as the Co- Producer of the show, Haute Curves LA Fashion Week. The FIRST ever Plus Size Fashion Show, during LA Fashion Week, which celebrated it 2nd year, on Saturday, October 12, 2013, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Angela Rene’s jewelry and designs have been featured in Heed Magazine, on R&B Singer and Actress, Kelly Price and by Actress, Plus Model, and Radio Host, Chenese Lewis, (The Chenese Lewis Show), Comedienne Kim Coles, (In Living Color), Singer, Actress Kim Yarbrough (Finalist NBC TV's The Voice, ), Model, Actress, Toccara, (America’s Next Top Model, The Ultimate Merger). Angela Rene's designs were recently worn on The Red Carpet, at The 63rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.
